A long climb to the upper seating but a great view. TOMMY was excellent and I'm sorry to see it go. Hope it comes back in 25 years. Show was super fun and music was "The Who" so what do you think?

Nederlander is a classic Broadway house. No lobby, bathrooms suck, seats are tiny. WHO CARES?! The shows are always great!!!! TOMMY was actually amazing. I’m a huge fan and was too young to see the 1993 version but so happy to see it 30 years later!!!!

Saw Tommy the rock opera at the Nederlander Theater. The view from the seats was good but several aspects is the experience let this theater down. The washroom facilities are not acceptable, with one washroom for each on the top floor and long lineups to enter the tiny facilities. At intermission, the women's lineup extended to the lower floor - plan accordingly. The air con seemed to be blowing at full the entire show which was unpleasant. Last, there was excessive light from the lobbies entering the theatre. The staff at times were also overbearing. On the plus side, the seats were reasonably comfortable and spacious. The theater could be great with a modest refresh.

Regarding the current show (which we saw mid-May 2024), “The Who’s Tommy”, I have to say it was a delight from beginning to end. Lighting effects were amazing, and the guy who played Tommy—Ali Louis Bourzgui—was outstanding for the role. If you saw the show back in the 90s, it’s similar, but the sets were sleek and modern.Regarding the Nederlander Theatre: overall the seats were comfortable, and the concessions are right near entrance behind the orchestra seats, so that’s a plus. We sat rear orchestra, and the only odd thing is the row has a slight step up from the aisle, so be careful not to trip yourself.

I’ve seen two shows (that I can recall) at this theatre. Shucked was orchestra and The Who’s Tommy was mezzanine. Both seats were positioned where we could see the stage fully. Bathrooms here are nice as well. Make sure you are first in line if going at intermission.

The Who's Tommy is one of the best shows on Broadway. From the moment it starts, you need to buckle up, because you are going to go on an amazing journey filled with energy and amazement. The show is a cohesive and exciting revival that brings together the earworm music of The Who combined with some of the most stunning visuals available on The Great White Way today. The vocals are award worthy, as is the choreography. This show requires true triple threats, and I am so impressed with all that ensemble does in a very tight two hours or so. They definitely earn the rousing applause at the end of the show. In fact, the audience was on its feet during the entire finale, which gave me goosebumps. You will leave wanting to dance while singing the music. The leads are all very strong, as are the young children in the show...wow! It is one not to be missed.

Went to see Tommy. Excellent play!! I liked the theater, but if you have long legs, you better get aisle seats because the seats in front of you are extremely close to your knees.I saw, however, some rows that had a lot of legroom, but they were by the corridor as you step on the 2nd floor. My suggestion is to book early.

The theater is beautiful. The show, Shucked, was great, funny and super voices. There should be a warning for the balcony seats that if you are over 6' tall, do not do it. The seats are terribly narrow 13"-14" between arm rests, about 7" between your seat and the back of the one in front of you. Bathroom was really small. The view was good and the sound was great. Had the show been mediocre, I would have left at intermission, it was that uncomfortable.

Love this theater! It's cramped and the bathrooms aren't convenient and they're overcrowded, sure, but that's Broadway. This theater has a distinct charm and the ushers are wonderful. Definitely recommend.

Like all historic Broadway theaters, it is intimate, and nearly every seat is a good view. Bonus that bathrooms are in the mezzanine where we happened to sit this time around. It felt a little more crowded when compared to other theaters but is the theater made most famous by Rent which ran there for more than 10 years. We took in Shucked for this visit many years later.

Great and accessible theatre. Go East and you can hangout at Bryant park while waiting for the show to begin. I had orchestra seats and it was easy to get to my seats!

Me and my family went to see Shucked because we heard it was closing. (Quick not before I start this review is nothing against the show itself. I recently posted I different review raving about the show. This is strictly about some of the people working at the theater). When we first got to the theater, everything was fine, but when we went in and started to head to our seats, it was overcrowded, which is fine. The show is about to close and you could expect that. The issue was how it was handled. We were all being screamed at by ushers to move, which would have been Ok except for there was nowhere to move. But none of this is to complain. I want to make that clear. This is just to inform people of what might happen at the theater when/if you go, I still think that everybody should go to see this beautiful piece. If you do have any group members that you are going with with autism or sensory issues, just keep that in mind. Even with the minor issues, this was still an amazing show and experience. The cast does come out for playbill signing and pictures for every show (even matinees). And for those of you who don't know that is quite rare

Saw "Shucked" there - and while it was alternately filled with puns, both corn-related and otherwise - the theatre was a great venue and I would definitely go there again for another show (if I'm in town).

Great experience seeing Billy Crystal's "Mr. Saturday Night". Sorry, I'm a little late to post this, but didn't want to skip it. We had a great evening out, and was a lovely little theatre. The show was fantastic, but a little pricey!

Beautiful theatre. It is on the smaller and tighter side so be mindful of that. Sat in the mezzanine and it was perfect! Such a great view. Based on how seats are angled and leveled, I can't see having a bad seat anywhere.Staff is very efficient and great demeanor. They made sure to give everyone proper directions to keep the lines moving. Super helpful is you asked any questions. My only complaint about this theatre is there is really limited bathroom for a full show. However, the bathrooms are very clean.

We saw Shucked at this theater tonight. The show was hilarious. The theater was nice. The seats were comfortable and they did a great job with the set on stage. They opened up a bunch of side doors after the show ended. It was quick and easy for everyone to exit the theater.
