Beautiful old world theater located in the heart of Broadway. So much charm here and beautiful architecture from the ceiling with chandeliers to the entire inside facade. The seating is comfortable and the sound is excellent. I caught one of the final performances of Patriots… what a spectacular show about the rise of Putin.

Watched Patriots here. It's a good theater keeping in mind it's Broadway. So, tiny seats. The aisle seats aren't much help since theaters started installing giant guide rails along the sides. Bathrooms are plentiful but in the basement so you may have to travel as many as 6 flights of stairs from your seat to the bathroom.Good location with a Starbucks at the corner and other assorted delis near hells kitchen.

Just caught a fantastic play about political power plays and it’s a must-see! Imagine a stage alive with secrets. The suspense is non-stop, with unexpected twists that keep you guessing. It’s not just entertaining; it’s a sharp commentary on ambition and democracy. Definitely worth watching if you love dramas that keep you thinking! To see it at this theatre you could feel the energy from all around, not just the stage. Watching plays from the orchestra seats is always a wonderful experience and in the mezzanine it takes on an added layer of energy. The theatre itself becomes a member of the cast. Kudos! To all!

Wonderful historic theater. Just hope the ushers and house crew/security can do a bit more to keep people quiet who arrive late - they get a false sense of insulation because of the back barrier partition, even though they should know better. Always really disruptive to the performance!

We loved The Patriots! Must see in NYC now, especially if you like foreign history, business and politics. Such a real story. I had my memory flashbacks with ORT TV LOGO on Broadway - surreal. Thank you for making this show happen.

Went to see Harmony. A performance was a real Gem. Alive orchestra music, all dances were staged spectacularly, everyone’s costumes were resonating with time of Europe prior to WW2. Loved the special effects on stage, sound effects, immediate changes of decoration, impressive use of old school of marionette performance and a big Tv screen and flash lights performance. This is one of a kind, a must see on Broadway show that will be taking you to a whole different world.

There is good viewing no matter where you sit but the mezzanine has a periodic draft as if there is a hole in the roof.

Obviously, we had a great time at the musical, Harmony and the Barrymore theater is beautiful. However I want to share a short story. My son has Downs syndrome and is scared of heights I didn't realize that I had purchased tickets on the upper balcony which has a pretty good incline. He was not able to sit and watch the play so I decided to leave. Then one of the ushers came by and I believe his name was Dan (very tall gentleman) working on the top balcony. He asked me why we were leaving. He made it a point to secure seats in the orchestra level, so that my son and I could see the show. That type of kindness is wonderful to see. As well, the theater did want to charge me the difference with these clearly better and more expensive seats. My son was very happy with the musical Harmony, which was outstanding and he thinks Dan is "cool"Merry Christmas and thank you

Wonderful, historic theatre. Great, unobstructed view from seats in row O of orchestra. Sound quality is good. Bathrooms don’t get too crowded. Would definitely recommend the theatre. We saw Peter Pan Goes Wrong here which was terrible but luckily that is closed.

Great Theater! We saw Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Hilarious and entertaining. Lots of good jokes and slap stick humor. Very much in the tradition of John Cleese in the Brit-com, Fawlty Towers. I took my 10 year old daughter. We laughed the whole time. There were some adult moments, many of which went over her head. The others provided an interesting opportunity for a good conversation. I highly recommend for a night of laughter and levity.

A cozy, well-run Broadway theatre with a rich history and great lineup. My wife and I went for Peter Pan Goes Wrong and had an excellent experience. The seats are soft and comfortable, and I didn't feel cramped as a 6' man who has long legs. The view from Mezzanine up top was surprisingly good, though we had front row seats, so I'm not sure how it is farther back. The staff is courteous and professional. Overall, the Barrymore theatre is a great place to go for a Broadway show and I recommend it.The only nitpick I have is the concession prices seemed rather steep, $61 for two water bottles, a medium glass of Rose, and a 1 shot drink, before tip. I'm used to West coast theaters in smaller towns with lower cost of living so maybe these prices are normal for Broadway. Also, Peter Pan Goes Wrong was hilarious and well done, can't recommend it enough!

The Theater was very small ,and tight, and people were rushed out from using the ladies room because they had a second performance later. Probably the play should have started @1:00 pm instead of 2 to allow patrons to use the Ladies room. We were not able.tonuse the ladies room, because during intermission since we were up front in the orchestra, when we went to use the ladies room the ladies room the line was up the stairs. The play the piano 🎹 lessons was excellent, and.worthy of seeing.
