A modest and intimate theatre where every seat is a good seat.

Did you know there is a women’s bathroom on the balcony level inside the theatre!? The play is what made this experience unforgettable. Small theatre, great view from the balcony.

The theatre is smaller and more intimate, with a charming old historic feel, but still relatively comfy seats, and great sound. Excellent view from the front mez. I had a tall guy in front of me, and he didn't totally block my view. Just saw "Oh Mary" the other week, and it was fantastic! Mary (Cole Escola) is a star, and an absolute gem. Overall a fun and silly show, with amazing performances (the intensity of Abe Lincoln always praying was just hilarious). However I'm removing one star for the beer selections at the concession stand. We have dozens of local breweries in NYC, and at such a cool venue and top tier show you're serving barely chilled 12oz bottles of Sam Adams and Corona for $15. I believe in you Lyceum Theatre! You got this.

The Lyceum is a beautiful, classic Broadway theater. It’s got that old New York charm (tiny bathrooms included). The balcony does seem to lean a bit and the pathways are narrow: a girl in the row behind me fell on me when trying to return to her seat after a poorly timed bathroom break. Still, I had a nice time.

Very pretty old world theater in NYC. Oh Mary! was showing... It's a must see... Staff was very polite and two bars made it easy to get drinks without a long wait

I'm so glad we went to this iconic theater. Michael R. Jackson's, 'A Strange Loop' was amazing! Fortunately, we didn't see any ghosts, but we did see a theater with so much history and beauty.

No trip to London is complete without a visit to the theatre, and if you're visiting en famille, there is no better choice than The Lion King. Which is...

I was fortunate enough to grab one of the final Grey House performances at the Lyceum Theater this weekend. Lyceum opened in 1903. It is one of the oldest surviving Broadway venues and the oldest operating legitimate theater in New York City. The facade, lobby, and auditorium became a New York City designated landmark. It truly is a gorgeous theater. There are over 900 seats in this intimate setting leaving not much elbow room so you may want to sit at the ends of the aisles.Grey House was definitely not like any other Broadway show I’ve seen. I’d describe it as a psychological thriller with some moments of comedy to break up the heaviness of the plot. You absolutely must pay attention to every detail, the set, wardrobe, lighting, music, every single word. There are clues in every scene that build up to a very extraordinary and emotional ending, if you are able to piece together the story you will truly shed tears at the end. The cast was amazing and it was great to see Laurie Metcalf on stage. This is a show that would probably reveal more if you watch it more than once. So sad that it closed the final curtain this weekend. I hope there are more shows like this in the future. All in all it was a memorable experience

I recently had the privilege of experiencing A Strange Loop at the Lyceum Theatre, and it was nothing short of inspiring. The theater itself is a beautiful and historic venue, adding to the overall ambiance of the show. But what truly left a lasting impression on me was A Strange Loop itself. The performances were phenomenal, the music was moving, and the story was thought-provoking and relatable. It left me with a lot to ponder and reflect on long after the curtain closed. I regret that the show has ended, as I would have loved to see it again.

Saw Grey House, first matinee, and it was awesome. ♡ Drinks pricey, but to be expected from the area, and there is at least one cheaper bar within a square block to chat with company afterward. Beautiful architecture, inclusive bathrooms, and handicap accessible. Totally worth the day trip.

Lyceum theatre is beautiful historic building. The exterior and interior will take you back in time to the early 1900’s. It’s very well maintained and preserved. Like with all theaters where you sit is pretty important to the show experience. Watched a strange loop and grey house here, both shows were very well made.

My partner and I had the opportunity to see A Strange Loop at the Lyceum Theatre and enjoyed the theatre and the show.We have never attended a show at the Lyceum Theatre and were surprised once we got inside. A beautiful theatre, with a smaller sitting area so you felt close to the stage no matter where you sat.Perfect evening out in NYC.

Watched A Christmas Carol at the Lyceum. Was lucky to get Orchestra seats here and the show was very good. Seats were row J and full view. They were giving out cookies and clementines to everyone at the theater which was quite nice. Leg space is a bit tight but we had a great time here. Also saw strange loop here from first row. Needed a booster cushion.
